Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. AR Denarius (19.5mm, 3.34 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 208. Laureate head right / Jupiter standing to front, head right, rearing to left, about to hurl thunderbolt gripped in right hand, cradling scepter in left arm. RIC IV 216; RSC 501. Small deposit below chin. Good VF.
