Palm frond within laurel wreath; “Shim‘on, Prince of Israel” (in Hebrew) around / Chelys of five strings; “year one of the redemption of Israel” (in Hebrew) around. Mildenberg 24 (O1/R5); Meshorer 223e (same dies as illustration); Hendin 6406; Bromberg 235 (same dies); Shoshana II 20142 (same dies); Sofaer 21 (same dies); Spaer 238–9 (same obv. die). Earthen dark green patina. Good VF.
