Grape bunch on vine tendril; “Shim’on’” (in Hebrew) around / Palm frond; “Y(ear) 2 of the freedom of Isael” ([sic] in Hebrew) around. Mildenberg 50 (O11/R29’); Meshorer 248b (same dies as illustration); Hendin 6423; Bromberg 148 (same dies); Shoshana I 20307–8 (same dies); Sofaer 54 (same rev. die); Spaer 212 (same dies). Lightly toned, overstruck on an uncertain denarius of Hadrian. VF.
