[ΓΑΙΩ ΚΑΙΣΑΡΙ C]ΕΒΑCΤΩ [ΓΕΡΜΑΝΙΚΩ], laureate head of Gaius Caligula left / Germanicus in triumphal quadriga right, holding eagle-tipped scepter; [ΝΟΜΙΣ]/ ΒΑΣΙ[ΛΕΩΣ]/ΓΡΙΠΠΑ in three lines above; traces of LE (date) in exergue. Meshorer 116; Hendin 6270; Sofaer –; RPC I 4976; Triton XI, lot 519 (same obv. die). Dark green-brown surfaces, light smoothing. Fine. Rare.
