Aelius. Caesar, AD 136-138. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.10 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Hadrian, AD 137. L • AELIVS CAESAR, bare head right / TR POT COS II, CONCORD in exergue, Concordia, draped, seated left on throne, holding patera in extended right hand and resting left arm on cornucopia set on ground. RIC II.3 2625; Strack 388δο; RSC 1; BMCRE 981 (Hadrian). Attractive light iridescent tone, minor flan flaw on obverse. EF.
