ARGOLIS, Epidauros. Late 4th/early 3rd century BC. Æ Chalkous (11.5mm, 0.90 g, 1h). Laureate head of Apollo left / E within wreath; Π below. BCD Peloponnesos 1224; HGC 5, 740; Pozzi (Boutin) 4271 (this coin). Dark brown patina, minor flan flaw in field on obverse. VF.

Ex BCD Collection (not in prior sales), purchased from Alan Walker at Leu, November 1978; Prof. Samuel-Jean Pozzi Collection (not in Naville I sale). Lot includes an old ticket marked “Coll. Wigam/4094/Avril 1904/8”.
