MACEDON (Roman Protectorate), Republican period. First Meris. Circa 167-149 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31.5mm, 16.92 g, 1h). Amphipolis mint. Diademed and draped bust of Artemis right, with bow and quiver over shoulder; all in the center of a Macedonian shield / Club right; monogram above, two monograms below; all within oak wreath; thunderbolt to left. Prokopov, Silver, Group II.A, 546 (O114/R432); HGC 3, 1103. Toned, some light scratches. Good VF.
