Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, club and bow-in-bowcase above monogram; monogram below throne. Kinns unlisted variety, but obv. die O2; Price 1900–5 var. (monograms); ANS inv. 1951.90.9 var. (same; same obv. die [an example of Price 1905]). Toned, slightly soft strike on obverse. Good VF. Extremely rare, unpublished example from a rare series. |
