JUDAEA, Bar Kochba Revolt. 132-135 CE. Æ (17.5mm, 2.43 g, 6h). Undated, attributed to year 3 (134/5 CE). Palm tree with two bunches of dates; “Jerusalem” (in Hebrew) in two lines across field / Grape leaf; “For the freedom of Jerusalem” (in Hebrew) around. Mildenberg 157.1 (O4/R7 – this coin); Meshorer 301 (same rev. die as illustration); Hendin 6466; Bromberg 263 (same rev. die); Shoshana I 20506 (same rev. die); Sofaer 166–7 (same rev. die); Spaer 260 (same rev. die). Dark brown surfaces, irregular flan with crack. Good VF.
