Bust right, wearing zucchetto, mozzetta, and mantum / Two yoked oxen plowing right; in exergue, coat-of-arms surmounted by tasseled gallero. MIR 2084; Muntoni 16; Berman 2176; KM 524. Toned, a few light scratches, minor edge marks. VF.

The reverse type commemorates Alexander’s efforts to provide grain to the population of the Papal states, as well as his promotion of agriculture in the area.
