Nero. AD 54-68. Æ Sestertius (34mm, 26.42 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 65. Laureate bust right / Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and spear; shields around. RIC I 281; WCN 138. VF, brown and green surfaces, some roughness.

The seated figure of Roma on this sestertius of 65 AD celebrates Nero's rebuilding of parts of the city after the great fire of the previous year
