Divus Constantine I. Died AD 337. Æ (16mm, 2.07 g, 12h). Commemorative issue. Heraclea mint, 1st officina. Struck under Constantine II, c.AD 337. DN CONSTANTI NVS PF AVG, veiled head right / Constantine driving quadriga right, holding scepter and reins; crowning manus Dei (hand of God) above; SMNƐ. RIC VIII 14. VF, light brown patina, minor deposits on reverse.

From the Ken Bressett Collection. Ex Lincoln Higgie Hoard 1967 @ $10.

The Lincoln Higgie Hoard was discovered in Turkey by Lincoln W. Higgie III, in 1967 and sold to me intact. Most of the 40 pieces were Æ 4 Urbs Roma copper coins from seven mints
