CELTIC. Lead statue. Circa 3rd-1st centuries BC. (11.4 cm). Of a mother and child. The mother stands facing, nude, except for some beads and bracelets, and covers herself in modesty with her hands. The child stands to the left, holding onto the mother’s side. Base formed to fit into a slot. Comes with modern black lucite and metal stand. O.
