ROMAN. Cast lead figure of a soldier riding an elephant. 1st-3rd centuries AD. (About 4 cm long and high). The soldier wears fancy armor, right arm raised, sitting on a war elephant marching right, his trunk raised upward over left eye. Displayed on modern painted black square wooden stand. Gray patina, earthen deposits, soldier missing left arm. Website shipping rates do not apply.
