Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Helios, nude and radiate, advancing left, holding whip and chlamys in left hand, raising right hand in salute. H&J, Nikopolis 8.23.27.1; AMNG 1686; Varbanov –. Dark green patina, roughness. Good VF. A very rare depiction of Helios on a provincial coin.
