SICILY, Akragas. Circa 415-406 BC. Æ Hemilitron (27mm, 24.03 g, 7h). Eagle, with wings spread and head raised, standing right on fish / Crab holding serpent in left claw; six pellets (mark of value) around, conch shell and octopus below. Westermark, Coinage, Series 2, 622.1 (1.O3/2.R3 – this coin); CNS 40; HGC 2, 134; Virzi 571 (same dies). Dark green patina, faint cleaning marks. VF.
