THESSALY, Trikka. Circa 440-400 BC. AR Hemidrachm (15.5mm, 2.91 g, 9h). The hero Thessalos, nude but for cloak and petasos, holding a band below the horns of forepart of bull leaping right, head facing / Forepart of bridled horse right; all within incuse square. BCD Thessaly II 782; HGC 4, 312. Toned, trace deposits, a few light scratches, minor double strike on reverse. Good VF.
