Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; tripod in left field. Light iridescent tone over lustrous surfaces, several small pits and scratches. EF. Exceptional early imitative issue.

By virtue of its style, fabric, and weight, this Alexander imitation is certainly an early issue, probably struck during the first decades of the 3rd century BC.
