Manuel I Comnenus. 1143-1180. EL Aspron Trachy Nomisma (34mm, 4.29 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1152-1167(?). Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing / Manuel, holding akakia, and the Theotokos, raising hand in benediction, standing facing, holding between them patriarchal cross set on small globe. DOC 3a; SB 1958. Toned, die break on reverse. EF.
