Striated fabric pattern / Cult statue of Ares facing on basis, holding sword, shield, and spear; uncertain animal to right. Cf. Spijkerman 8; cf. Sofaer 5 for reverse prototype. Gray-brown patina with some light earthen highlights/deposits. VF. Rare and unusual.
