The diety Tyche-Pantheia has her origin in Egypt as a Roman-inspired goddess, combining the attributes of Athena, Tyche, and Nemesis, she first appears on the coinage of Antoninus Pius. Her appearance outside of Egypt is equally rare, previously limited to only a few rare coins of Laodicea ad Lycum in Phrygia, this coin marks her first appearance on a coin struck in Tarsus.
