CILICIA, Hierapolis-Castabala. Circa 1st century AD. Æ (26mm, 8.80 g, 6h). Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Alexander the Great right / Veiled and draped bust of Tyche right, wearing mural crown; torch to right. Robert 20; SNG BN 2226-7; RPC I 4065; SNG Levante 1577. Dark green patina, die break on obverse. VF.

The obverse portrait is now thought to depict Alexander the Great as founder (ktistes) of Hieropolis-Castabala.
