D N THEODO SIVS P F AVC, rosette-and-laurel-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / CONCORDI A AVCCCC, Constantinopolis enthroned facing, head right, with right foot on prow, holding scepter in right hand and wreath inscribed VOT/V/MVLT/X in four lines in left; A//CONOB. ‘In North Africa the Vandals first issued imitations of silver coins of Honorius of the mint of Ravenna, distinguishable from the originals by their style, by being struck on thick flans too small for the dies, and by frequently having a 3 o’clock die axis instead of the 6 o’clock or 12 o’clock one customary on Roman coins.’ Grierson, p.6.
