FERRANDVS (five annulets) REX, radiate, draped, and armored bust right / EQVITAS REGNI (two annulets), horse prancing right; eagle beneath horse’s head; rosette above; in exergue, (rosette) T (rosette). Grierson, Coins of Medieval Europe 409; MEC 14, 1020-2 var. (one annulet in rev. legend). Dark brown surfaces, traces of earthen deposits. Near VF.
