Crowned bust left; scepter to left / + PVLFSI ON LINCOI, cross fleurée, with pellet-in-annulet at center. M. Allen, “The mints and moneyers of England and Wales, 1066-1158,” in BNJ 82 (2012), p.76, note 157 = NumCirc CIV.6 (July-August 1996) no. 3364 (same dies); Mossop –; SCBI –; North 839; SCBC 1250; DNW 143, lot 709 (same dies). Toned, broken and repaired. VF. Extremely rare, only the third known for this moneyer and mint. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS.
