LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (18.5mm, 7.93 g, 7h). Wreathed head of Demeter left / Barley ear with leaf to left; above leaf, griffin springing right; AY below leaf. Johnston Class C, 6.1 (same dies); HN Italy 1589; BMC 108 (same dies). Attractive iridescent tone. Near EF.
