Q HER ETR MES DECIVS NOB C, bareheaded and draped bust right / PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS, Herennius, in military attire, standing left, holding signum in right hand and vertical reversed spear in left. RIC IV 148a; Calicó 3312 (but with a photograph of a coin of Hostilian in error); Adda –; Biaggi –; Jameson –; Mazzini –; Roma XIII, lot 887 (same dies). A few scratches on reverse. Good VF. Charming youthful portrait. Rare.
