Herennius Etruscus. As Caesar, AD 249-251. Æ As (25mm, 11.34 g, 12h). Rome mint, 4th officina. 5th emission of Decius, AD 251. Q HER ETR MES DECIVS NOB C, bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / PRINC-IPI IVVENTVTIS, Apollo seated left, holding branch and resting elbow on lyre. RIC II 170 (Decius). Dark green-brown patina, some roughness, scrape on reverse. VF. Very rare, one of only two in CoinArchives.
