Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. Æ Sestertius (32mm, 22.78 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 146-161. Draped bust right, wearing hair bound in pearls on top of her head / AETER NIT AS, S C across field, Aeternitas seated left, holding Phoenix nimbate on globe and scepter. RIC III 1103A (Pius); Banti 8. Green patina, heavy smoothing scratches. VF. Very rare with S C across field. Banti lists 32 examples with S C in exergue but only one example with S C across field.
