Steatite scarab with seated cat. Lower Egypt, New Kingdoms Period. 1550-1050 BC. (12 mm) A scarab with a central, bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is simple, with only crude indications of features. On the face, a seated cat faces right before a cup, probably a reference to Bastet. VF.
