Steatite scarab with personal name in hieroglyphs. Lower Egypt. New Kingdoms Period. 1550-1050 BC. (14 mm) A scarab with a central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is engraved to define major features of the scarab, including legs. On the face, hieroglyphs suggest “Lord Xsm (Hasem?)” a personal name. Minor deposits.
