Steatite scarab with pharaoh’s name in hieroglyphs. Lower Egypt. New Kingdoms Period. Tuthmose III. 18th Dynasty. 1479-1425 BC. (15 mm) A scarab with a central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is crudely engraved to define features of the scarab. On the face, m’n Xpr r’ (Tuthmose III) in hieroglyphs. Fine.
