Faience ushabti with blue-green glaze. Lower Egypt. Late Dynastic Period. 664-332 BC. (7.2 cm) An ushabti in mummiform form, wearing headdress and false beard. His arms are crossed, and he holds the flail and crook. An inscription in four hieroglyphs descend down the legs of the figure. Bar on back as is typical of period. Intact and attractive. |
