Lot of five (5) Lower Egypt. New Kingdoms Period Scarabs. . Lot includes: (12 mm) Steatite scarab with seated Hapi. Scarab with central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is simply engraved, features are poorly defined. On the face, Hapi (representation of Thoth) nfr - "Beautiful Thoth" in hieroglyphics.

(18 mm) Steatite scarab with Amun inscribed. A scarab with central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is simply engraved to define features. On the face, loss of lower portion of the scarab hides some of the inscription. Amun can be read to the left.

(13 mm) Steatite scarab with ureaus and crown. Scarab with central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is engraved to define the head and clypeus. Minor indications of wing cases present. On the face, an ureaus and the crown of Lower Egypt.

(13 mm). Steatite scarab. A scarab with a central, bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is simply engraved, but major features, including legs, are present. On the face, loss over lower 40% disrupts read of three hieroglyphs.

(12 mm) Blue-green glazed steatite scarab. A scarab with a central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is engraved with features of the scarab. On the face, an engraving is present. Bitumen stains the glaze to make the engraving difficult to read. .
