ATTICA, Athens. Circa 454-404 BC. Fourrée Tetradrachm (24mm, 13.68 g, 1h). Helmeted head of Athena right, with frontal eye / Owl standing right, head facing, closed tail feathers; olive spray and crescent to left; all within incuse square. For prototype: cf. Kroll 8; cf. HGC 4, 1597. Toned, test cut, roughness, tiny breaks in plating. Near VF. Interesting fourrée made with a test cut before plating.
