THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 356-342 BC. AR Drachm (19mm, 6.07 g, 5h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, hair in ampyx, wearing single-pendant earring and plain necklace / Horse standing right, preparing to lie down; ΛAPIΣ-AIΩN above and below. Lorber, Hoard, Phase L-III, 48 (same obv. die); BCD Thessaly II 316; HGC 4, 453; Gulbenkian 477; Traité IV 701. Toned, trace patches of find patina, a little off center on reverse. Good VF.
