ISLANDS off SICILY, Lipara. Circa 440-420 BC. Æ Tetras – Trionkion (29mm, 24.72 g). Bearded head of Aiolos to right, wearing conical pilos / ΛΙΠΑΡΑΙΟΝ (retrograde) around three pellets (mark of value). CNS 5 mv 1–1/1; HGC 2, 1762; SNG München 1679; BMC 6; de Luynes 1474; Virzi 2085; Weber 1777. Dark green-brown patina, edge split, slight roughness. Good VF.
