CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 325-280 BC. AR Diobol (12.5mm, 1.16 g, 1h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla throwing a stone / Herakles kneeling right, strangling the Nemean Lion to right; club to left, uncertain symbol to upper right. HN Italy 976. Deep iridescent tone, edge split, numerous light cleaning scratches, slightly off center, struck with worn reverse die. Near EF.
