BITHYNIA, Nicaea. Valerian I, with Gallienus and Valerian II Caesar. AD 253-260. Æ Triassarion (24mm, 5.54 g, 7h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Valerian I right, facing radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus left; between, smaller radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Valerian II right / Agonistic urn, containing two palm fronds, between two agonistic urns, each containing single palm frond. Cf. RG 824; SNG von Aulock 720 (same dies). Light brown surfaces, porosity. Fine.
