Half-length facing figure of the Theotokos, orans, within city walls with four towers; sigla: (ΓM) | * / Christ standing facing, crowning Andronicus and Michael, kneeling to left and right respectively. DOC 438-462; PCPC 128 (sigla 151); SB 2396. Clipped, a couple of minor flan cracks, area of weakness on reverse, light scratches. VF. A nice example for type with clear Theotokos and sigla. |
