AKARNANIA, Leukas. Circa 400-375 BC. AR Stater (21.5mm, 8.46 g, 3h). Pegasos, bridled, flying right; Λ below / Head of Athena right, wearing Corinthian helmet, within incuse circle. Pegasi 19; Imhoof-Blumer, Akarnaniens –; BCD Akarnania –; HGC 4, 816. Toned, flan crack, a couple of light marks, double struck on reverse. EF. Very rare issue without control marks on reverse.
