KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32mm, 16.78 g, 10h). Amphipolis mint. Struck circa 288/7-282/1 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monograms to inner left, outer right, and in exergue. Thompson 207; cf. Müller 538–9; HGC 3, 1750l. Toned, light porosity, minor double strike, a few minor scratches, small spot of smoothing on obverse. Near EF.
