Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, Arion, holding kithara, on dolphin right above prow left; in exergue, [...]ΩTI and APTE flanking vertical kerykeion. Price 1695A corr. (legend on left in exergue); HGC 6, 910. In NGC encapsulation 4284684-003, graded Ch VF, Strike: 5/5, Surface: 4/5. Extremely rare, only one example published: the Giessener Münzhandlung 52, lot 192 coin cited by Price (struck from the same obverse die as the present coin); none in Pella, the ANS photofile, nor CoinArchives.
