Lot of seven (7) caches. Syrian and Phoenician, 2nd millenium to 4th centuries BCE. Steatite. (16 mm) A triangular cachet with rounded handle with central piercing for suspension. On the face, two quadrupeds (horses? ibex?) running right // Steatite. (17 mm) A cachet with a small handle and piercing for suspension. On the face, a duck faces left, its wings raised // Steatite. (16 mm) Square cachet with pyramid shaped back and piercing for suspension. The face is engraved with a cross-like pattern, all within a linear border // Steatite. (17 mm) An oval cachet with central bidirectional piercing for suspension. On the face, a worn engraving on an ibex standing left, star above // Steatite. (22 mm) A triangular cachet with pierced handle on back for suspension. On the face, a recumbent quadruped right, head left; above left, sun // Steatite. (18 mm) A semispherical cachet with a central piercing. On the face, a solar meandros pattern with two bars or branches // Bronze. (23 mm) A bronze cachet with a tall stylized handle in the shape of a fist. The handle is pierced at the top from both sides to allow for a suspension loop. The engraving on the face is worn and hard to define; a central figure stands facing with arms outstretched, animals rest on either side; to the right, the outline of a bird standing right.
