BITHYNIA, Kalchedon. Circa 230s-mid 220s BC. AV Stater (17.5mm, 8.31 g, 2h). In the name and types of Lysimachos. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY, Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monograms to inner left and in exergue. Marinescu Issue 33, 73 var. (O–/R68 [unlisted obv. die]); Seyrig, Monnaies, pl. 25, 24 (same obv. die); Türkoğlu L01; HGC 7, 506. Light reddish toning. EF. Extremely rare, only one example noted by Marinescu (in the BN), only one in CoinArchives, none in ANS photofile.
