MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 550-450 BC. EL Hemihekte – Twelfth Stater (9mm, 1.30 g). Sphinx seated left on tunny left / Quadripartite incuse square. Hurter & Liewald I 27b, citing CNG 57, lot 380; otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Flan crack, slightly off center. Near EF. Extremely rare, one of two known hemihektai from an issue that was unknown to von Fritze.
