BOEOTIA, Federal Coinage. Circa 220s BC. Æ 17mm (3.37 g, 7h). Head of Demeter or Kore (Persephone) three-quarter face right, wearing grain wreath / Poseidon, naked, standing left, resting right foot on rock and leaning on trident; to right, BOIWTWN downward. BCD Boiotia 102 (this coin); SNG Copenhagen 384; BMC p. 41, 81, pl. VI, 8. Good VF, medium brown patina. Overstruck on Æ of Antigonos Gonatas of the type SNG Cop. 1214-1221.

The obverse of this coin being particularly well struck there are only a few traces of the undertype. On the reverse one can see the horse's nose and foreleg.
