IONIA, Kolophon. Circa 450-410 BC. AR Drachm (5.23 g, 7h). [N]OINWFLOK (retrograde), head of Apollo right, wearing laurel wreath / Kithara in incuse square. Milne, Colophon 14 corr.; SNG Copenhagen -; SNG München -; BMC 2 (same dies); Pozzi 2408 (same obv. die). Good VF, darkly toned, granular surfaces. Rare.

Milne describes the legend as counterclockwise around the head, but it is actually clockwise around, beginning below the chin.
