CARIA, Knidos. Circa 350-330/20 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.29 g, 12h). Chian standard. Agathophanes, magistrate. Head of Aphrodite right, hair tied at back, wearing single-pendant earring and necklace / Forepart of roaring lion right; AGAQOFANHS below. Unpublished, but cf. Ashton, Late 67-83, for a series of drachms by this magistrate. VF, minor flat strike at high points. Extremely rare, unpublished as a tetradrachm.
