PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy II Philadelphos. 285-246 BC. AR Drachm (3.55 g, 11h). Alexandreia mint. Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis around neck / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; monogram above shield to left, date between legs (indistinct). Cf. Svoronos 570; cf. SNG Copenhagen 111. Near EF, toned. Excellent metal. Very rare.
